Just before the dough is done rising preheat the oven to 500 degrees Fahrenheit. If you are using a pizza stone, be sure to preheat it in a cold oven.

Divide the dough in half and place on a flat, floured face like the kitchen counter. Form each dough section into a ball then stretch into a circle. Use a rolling pin coated with flour to roll the dough out into a large, thin circular shape.

Sprinkle cornmeal onto a large baking sheet and add your toppings. ReplaceMent to the pizza stone or bake on the baking sheet for about 10 minutes or until the crust is golden brown.

Repeat the process with the second round of dough or frost it in a freezer bag for later use.

Makes 2 thick medium sized crusts or 4 thin crusts.

Combine all ingredients. Roll into balls and place on cookie sheet.

3 c bisquick mix

Combine sausage, bisquick and grated cheese and mix very well. Form into 1 to 2 inch size balls. Place on un greased baking sheet and bake at 300 degrees for 25 to 30 minutes or until lightly browned. May be made ahead and frozen.

1 1/2 cups chopped pecans

1 box brown sugar

1 can coconut

1 stick butter- room temperature

1 teaspoon vanilla

2 cups bisquick® baking mix

4 large eggs

Mix all ingredients and bake in 9x13 baking pan. Bake on preheated 350f oven for 45 minutes. Cool on rack, cut while warm.

2 Pt strawberries -- sliced

2/3 c sugar

2 1/3 c bisquick

3 tb sugar

3 tb margarine or butter -- melted

1/2 c milk

3/4 c whipping (heavy) cream

Sprinkle strawberries with 2/3 c. Sugar; let stand 1
hr.

Preheat oven to 425 f.

Mix bisquick, 3 tb. Sugar, margarine and milk until
soft dough forms. Drop by rounded tablespoonfuls into
6 mounds on ungreased cookie sheet. Sprinkle with
sugar. Bake 10 to 12 minutes or until golden brown.

Beat whipping cream in chilled bowl until stiff.
Split shortcakes; spoon strawberries in the middle of halves
and over tops. Top with whipped cream.

High altitude: heat oven to 450 f. Decrease the 3 tb.
Sugar in shortcakes to 1 tb.

I accept that there are countless others from this era. But how many can you name from the last ten years? Not that many I reckon. And why? Well, it would seem that in this age of home teaching and a more discrete school curriculum, there Naturally may well be less to complain about today. For the sake of pop music, that could well be a shame.

But did you know how easy it is to take a box of brownie mix and elevate it from straightforward to sensational, even without a recipe? Here are some of my popular ideas for Dressing up a boxed brownie mix that don't even want a recipe.

1. Stir something extra into the batter.  Stir in 1 to 2 cups of something extra like chopped nuts, chocolate chips, chopped candy bars, coconut, or chopped cookies.  My popular brownie additions comprise chopped Oreos, peanut butter cups, or peppermint patties.

2. Frost your brownies.  either store bought or homemade frosting will work. Chocolate, cream cheese, coconut pecan, cream cheese, or peanut butter frosting all are delicious on brownies.  And chocolate ganache (chopped chocolate melted with warm cream) will give your brownies a shiny, fancy finish.

3. Add your popular flavor or extract. Just a teaspoon or two of instant coffee powder, mint extract, or orange passage stirred into your brownie batter will add a custom touch to your brownie mix.

4.  Spice them up.  Give your brownies the flavor of Mexican chocolate by stirring a teaspoon of cinnamon and pinch of cayenne into the batter.

5. Add a swirl. Drop spoonfuls of raspberry jam, orange marmalade or cream cheese filling over the face of the brownie batter once it's in the pan, and then swirl it nearby with the tip of a butter knife.

6. Add a topping.  This can be done either before or after your brownies are baked.  Chopped nuts, chocolate chips, and M&Ms can be added before baking.  Or give your brownies the taste of Smores by adding a layer of mini marshmallows, chocolate chips, and chopped graham crackers once they are baked.  Just place the pan back under the broiler until melted and golden.

Pupunha: this is a small, conical shaped fruit that ranges from yellow to reddish orange in color. Pupunha grows on tall palm trees and contains a single, large seed within its edible pulp - very much like a peach. This fruit is rich in Vitamins A and C, and may be cooked or eaten raw.

Tucumã: on the outset, this fruit may resemble a persimmon in size and color, which varies from yellow to dark red-orange. Like persimmons, the fruit's flesh is thin, but the flavor is quite unique. Tucumã contains a great whole of Vitamin A, more than the midpoint avocado.
